Hello,
I created this web site for the Child Sponsorship Program of the UCC, first in 1997 when offices were still in NYC. The program has grown since then, and now helps almost 800 children.
After the UCC and Christian Church created Global Ministries, the Child Sponsorship program moved to Cleveland, Ohio. The website remained lodged in the Northwest Ohio Association of the Ohio Conference of the UCC in the USA, providing a web resource for child sponsorship.
This 2005 site promotes the approved places in the world where we help you find a child to support. I have broadened the information to include site descriptions and pictures, in the hope that it will draw you into and personalize this ministry.
Come discover an area of the world, or a form of ministry for children that sparks your imagination, dedication, and interest in helping a child.
I have done other free sites free (or low cost), because it is fun, meaningful, and I feel good about doing a little part to make this world better.
